Most of the family correspondence is from Helen Mabry, a student at Greensboro Female College, now Greensboro College, Greensboro, N.C. (1895-1896). The collection contains information on social life and customs, economic conditions, teaching in Louisa Co., Va., and Mabry's mercantile firm.
